Duck

Pursell Farms maintains a hidden treasure tucked into a swamp on the south end of the farm. Here, you'll find a flooded timber hole that was created over 25 years ago, and it is a perennial duck mecca! The water level is dropped during the summer to allow natural vegetation to grow in the mud flats, and when duck season rolls around, water is allowed to fill the surrounding, 12-acre bottom of overcup oaks and water oaks. It is no surprise that ducks pour into this unique spot every year.

The Hunt

Five elevated blinds surround the duck hole, giving guides plenty of options for various wind directions. Each blind is very comfortable, and natural camouflage covering the blinds helps put the ducks right in your lap! We put hunters “on call,” and when the ducks arrive, we hunt!

Duck Hunting

Includes: Dinner the night before the hunt, 1 overnight stay, guide, morning hunt and a big country breakfast after the hunt.

We can accommodate a maximum of 7 hunters.
